Now we introduce the three methods to install overload protection device as below.
1. Install the force measuring ring at the bottom of mast section of column and the top of the guide pulley. This way is suitable for single-column or double-column elevator. Using force ring as overload protection device is easy to install, sensitive and reliable, small error. The hoisting wire rope has reverse piercing and winding, and the wire rope curvature radius is small, easy to produce fatigue damage.
2. Install the force measuring ring on the fixed end of the hoisting wire rope on the sky beam of the construction lift, and this method is suitable for single column, double column and derrick lifts, while is difficult to install and maintain the control cable of the force measuring ring from the ground to the ceiling beam of the lift.
Install the force measuring ring between the lifting pulley of the construction elevator and the top of the hanging cage. This method is applicable to single-column and double-column lifts and derrick lifts. Pay attention to the cable protection.
